Our Founder

Erica White Pitts is the Founder and Senior Consultant with EriTech Consulting, LLC.  She is a veteran educator, with over twenty years of experience and a passion for technology integration.  She has teaching as well as school and district leadership experience from working in a variety of states as a classroom teacher, instructional technology specialist supporting teachers and students in many schools, and as a director of education technology at the district level.

As the Director of Techbook Implementation at Discovery Education, Erica led a team and worked directly with hundreds of districts, across the US and Canada, supporting instructional integration for the company’s first digital textbook line.

Erica is a skillful facilitator and instructional coach, implementing researched-based instructional best practices with thousands of educators nationwide to build capacity, enhance teacher practice, and increase student engagement.

Erica earned a BA, cum laude, in Elementary Education, with a concentration in math, from North Carolina Central University.  She also earned a MS, Summa Cum Laude, in Education, with a concentration in Educational Technology from Johns Hopkins University.

EriTech Consulting, LLC has also contracted with Discovery Education, Instructure, Finalsite, Transfr, Leading Women Defined, and Corporate Counsel Women of Color to provide services.
